Bao's Pastry was founded by Mr. Bao Caisheng in 2004 in Beijing under the name "Bao Zai Pastry House." The brand was officially renamed "Bao's Pastry" in 2005. In 2015, Beijing Bao Caisheng Catering Management Co., Ltd. was established to oversee the brand operations. As the creator of the original Xiao Bei (小贝), Bao's Pastry upholds its philosophy: "Freshly baked in-store for superior taste, open-view kitchens for unshakable trust."
For years, Bao's Pastry has prioritized food quality, showcasing its artisanal process through open-view kitchens to ensure both safety and an exceptional consumer experience.
In 2021, the brand’s signature Xiao Bei surpassed 100 million units sold. By 2023, sales doubled to a record-breaking 200 million units, achieving an industry milestone.
With nationwide popularity, every Bao's Pastry location attracts consistent queues, cementing its position as a leader in China’s modern bakery sector.
